About the book
In a world where technology has crashed and a ruthless dictator rules the Federated Republic of America with an iron fist, eighteen-year-old Marcos finds himself trapped within the impenetrable walls of Queenstown. Despite his attempts to escape, he is “disappeared” into a secret labor camp, with his controlling father’s approval.
But Marcos never expected to find a vibrant and diverse rebel movement, the Underground, within the confines of the labor camp. Fueled by his anger and a desire for freedom, Marcos joins forces with his new found family to take action against the oppressive regime and free the labor camp. However, their rebellion could come with a high price.
As Marcos and his friends risk everything for their freedom, they face the harsh reality that the Supreme Commander will not go down without a fight. Will their determination be enough to defeat the tyrant — or will they fall victim to his ruthless tactics?
Perfect for fans of The Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Divergent, Legend, and The Darkest Minds.

Reviews
“The world building is fantastic and the characters are completely unforgettable. I adored each and every one as well as the twists and turns along the way.”
— WhatYouTolkienAbout
“It’s like a ride you would find at a theme park — you start slowly building up faster and faster than it slows down again, but not knowing what’s around the corner.”
— Sarah Reads
“Brave, intriguing, and timely, C.C. Robinson’s debut proves that diversity is the strength that unites us, not the thing that divides us.”
— Caitlin Mazur · Amazon Reviewer
“Well ‘walls balls’ — this was an amazing dystopian read by CC Robinson!”
— Toni Everett · Amazon Reviewer
“The characters vary in mannerisms and knowledge, growing throughout the book with the new knowledge they gain. I could feel the characters’ emotions as they struggled to fight back.”
— Randi-Lee Bowslaugh
“The heart of this story resides in the character development and the themes that this story represents. The way the story mirrored our divisive world spoke to the theme of oppression and overcoming the odds to find hope once more.”
— Author Anthony Avina
